Services Priced at $500 or Less
Services priced at $500 or less are generally due in full before work begins unless different terms are approved in writing.
Project Services Above $500
Larger projects generally require an initial project deposit, with the remaining balance due according to the written project agreement. Specific payment terms are confirmed before the project begins.
Milestone Payments
Larger software, AI, and custom-development projects may use milestone billing tied to defined stages such as project initiation, functional-build milestones, and final deployment or handoff.
Payment Plans
Approved installment or milestone-payment options may be available for qualifying projects of $1,000 or more. Payment arrangements must be approved before work begins and documented in the applicable agreement or invoice.
Recurring Services
Monthly recurring services are billed in advance for the applicable service period. Annual service options are billed according to the applicable service agreement.
Dispatch Services
Dispatch fees are governed by the carrier's dispatch service agreement. Primary Dispatch is 6% of gross linehaul and On-Demand Dispatch is 8% of gross linehaul. Detention, layover, TONU, lumper, tarp, and similar accessorials are excluded from the dispatch-fee calculation and remain 100% with the carrier.
Government & Third-Party Expenses
Government and third-party expenses are not included in PFD's service fee unless expressly stated in writing. These may include state filing fees, registered-agent fees, expedited processing, insurance premiums, surety-bond costs, domain registration, website hosting, software subscriptions, premium themes/plugins, API or usage fees, load-board or TMS subscriptions, printing and shipping, advertising spend, payment-processing charges, and other required third-party expenses.
Where payment of a third-party expense is necessary for PFD to continue the work, the client must provide or pay that amount before PFD incurs the expense or completes the related transaction.
Final Delivery
Unless different terms are established in writing, all outstanding project balances must be paid before final launch, deployment, transfer, release of final deliverables, or system handoff.
Accepted Payment Methods
Available payment methods are confirmed on the applicable invoice or payment request and may include approved electronic-payment options made available by PFD.
Pricing & Scope Notice
PFD service fees cover only the work identified in the selected package or written service agreement. Government filing fees, regulatory charges, insurance premiums, surety-bond costs, legal and accounting fees, software subscriptions, hosting, domains, printing, advertising spend, payment-processing charges, and other third-party expenses are separate unless expressly included in writing. Services requiring professional licensure are provided only through the applicable licensed process.
